The Seattle Wine and Food Experience (SWFE) weekend returns February 20 & 21. The epicurean weekend kicks off with the 2nd Annual Pop! Bubbles & Seafood event on Saturday night at the elegant McCaw Hall. Pop! features the Pacific Northwest’s bounty of seafood paired with sparkling wines, Champagne, craft beer, cider and seafood-friendly white wines.
The weekend continues on Sunday with the 8th Annual Grand Tasting; a deluxe showcase for wine, beverage, food and lifestyle in the Northwest. Wines from the Northwest and beyond are featured along with local and regional beer, cider and spirits. Food is a major highlight and includes top culinary talent and tastemakers serving up their latest creations. Guests stroll through the event as they taste through diverse wines and learn first hand directly from the producers. Other features include artisan food purveyors, sensory experiences, educational elements and more. This popular sell-out weekend attracts 2,700 enthusiasts including trade and media.
