2013 COLUMBIA VALLEY
Red Coral. Rare, treasured, aflame. Ruby edges deepen into crimson waves of splendid decadence awaiting the taste of your lips.
This red blend is made from three classic grape varieties famously found along the rocky arid riverbed of the southern Rhone Valley much like parts of Walla Walla. Soak your senses in this rich, juicy and vibrant red wine redolent with spice, berry, pepper and thyme. Pair with braised, bronzed, savory and saucy.
Play with Me. Pour Me and adore Me. I am yours. I am Red.

All of the fruit was gently de-stemmed into open top fermenters with 100% whole berries. A four to six-day cold maceration under controlled temperatures took place, after which the individual lots were inoculated with various Rhône yeast selections. Fermentations were punched down twice daily, with temperatures never reaching above 82º F. After 7-10 days of maceration, each lot was pressed and allowed to settle in tank before going to barrel. The wine was aged in neutral 228-500 liter French oak barrels for 12 months. Racking occurred twice before bottling in November 2014.
